Preschool Read & Play

Read & Play is a print motivation and social-emotional learning program for caregivers and their young children. Each session begins with 2-3 engaging read-aloud stories and songs to build early literacy skills and a love of books. Afterward we switch into open play with age-appropriated toys. During this time, children build important social and emotional skills, such as sharing, turn-taking, communication, and cooperation, through play with their peers.

This program also offers caregivers a valuable opportunity to connect and network with other caregivers who have children of a similar age, building community while little ones learn and grow together.

This program session is designed for preschoolers, ages 3-5 years old.
