Enjoy a fun historical craft program inspired by stars, roses, and the quiet craft traditions of the 18th century. In this fun event, you’ll create an embroidered design featuring 13 stars representing the original colonies arranged around a central rose, the national flower of the United States. Discover:
basic embroidery stitches to complete your stars-and-rose hoop and leave with a handmade piece that reflects both nature and history while marking America’s 250th Anniversary.

Please note there is a $5 non-refundable materials fee. Payment must be made within 72 hours of registration, or you could be moved to the waitlist. One registration per adult with a valid Hicksville library card. Registration will open to out-of-district residents on Monday, July 6.
