Details:
Join us this summer for a variety of enriching literacy programs at the library! Our **SUMMER BABY TIME** offers bonding experiences for babies and caregivers through lap-sit stories, songs, and activities that promote vocabulary development and socialization. **E.S.L. Read-Aloud Club** invites adult learners to practice reading aloud in English on Thursday mornings in June and July, focusing on pronunciation, fluency, and confidence within a supportive environment. Concurrently, children ages 0-5 can participate in engaging story times, including **Preschool** and **Toddler Story Time**, designed to foster pre-literacy skills through age-appropriate stories, rhymes, crafts, and playful activities. Additionally, immerse yourself in our ESL Read Aloud program to further improve your reading skills while earning points for our Summer Reading Program. Don’t forget to register for the **Laser Cutter Orientation** to learn about the Kingwood Library’s Glowforge Laser Cutter, available for individuals aged 13 and older. Free tickets for all events are required and can be collected at the information desk 30 minutes prior to each program. Join us for a summer of fun, learning, and building lasting connections with new friends!
