Ever wonder what it’s like to spend a day at a working airport?
Join us for the Aviation Merit Badge Fly-In at Flying M Aerodrome in Germansville, PA, for an immersive aviation experience unlike any other!
Scouts will spend the day on the airport grounds, sitting along the flight line watching aircraft take off and land, interacting with pilots, mechanics, and aviation professionals, and rotating through hands-on learning stations designed to satisfy a large portion of the Aviation Merit Badge requirements.

Aircraft Maintenance Demonstrations

Airport Operations and Runway Activities

Flight Theory and Ground School

FPG-9 Glider Build and Flight Lab

Talk with Pilots and Aviation Professionals

Flight Line Observation Area – bring a chair and watch aviation in action all day!
For those who choose, optional orientation and discovery flights are available, providing an unforgettable opportunity to experience flight firsthand.
