What: Stream Explorers is a longstanding partnership between GARNA and the Collegiate Peaks Chapter of Trout Unlimited to connect kids to the river in their backyard. In this 2-day mini camp, kids will learn about stream ecology, water quality, fly tying, and fly fishing.
When: On Thursday, August 6 and Friday August 7 from 9:00am-4:00pm, campers will learn about fly fishing and water ecology! There will be a separate family fishing day on August 8 where campers can show off their skills to their families.
Who: Stream Explorers is open to rising 5th to 8th graders. Stream Explorers
Where: This edition of Stream Explorers will take place in and around Salida. Space is limited and registration is required. There will be a shuttle from Buena Vista to the Salida location for anyone based in BV!
