Learn Acrylic Painting with Periwinkle Studio
This summer, we invite campers on a bold painting adventure. In this energetic, hands-on camp, we dive straight into acrylic painting using canvas and heavyweight paper. Each day brings new techniques, fresh ideas, and plenty of room to experiment.
First, we explore theme-based projects that guide the creative process. Campers play with bold shapes and eye-catching patterns. Then, we build depth and texture. Using collage, stencils, and layered materials, artists add dimension and personality to every piece.
Along the way, campers stretch their skills and try new approaches. Texture takes center stage, encouraging them to think differently and create art that feels dynamic and alive.
This camp is a great fit for beginner to intermediate artists who are ready to explore painting in a supportive, creative environment.
What to bring: We provide all materials, including canvas, paints, and brushes. Campers are welcome to bring special items or inspiration to make their work their own.
Focus: Acrylic painting, collage, texture, and pattern.
By the end of the week, campers leave with stronger skills, finished artwork they’re proud of, and a deeper love for the creative process.
