Sea Kayak Rescue & Recovery

Sea Kayak Rescue and Recovery builds upon knowledge and skills learned in Kayak Rescue Basics (required prerequisite), with the introduction of more advanced self and assisted rescue techniques, towing, group management for safety, and additional rescue gear. Safety and gear considerations for coastal touring kayaking will be introduced and discussed. This course is designed as a progressive step for the touring paddler looking for more experience. Touring kayak with bow and stern bulk headed hatches required.
