As a first-time author, she brings passion, authenticity, and a strong sense of purpose to her work, establishing herself as a promising new voice dedicated to cultural storytelling and historical reflection.
Patricia Carrington is an emerging author whose work is rooted in the preservation and retelling of African American Gullah stories, tracing their origins to the lives and legacy of enslaved Africans. Her writing reflects a deep commitment to honoring history, culture, and ancestral voices, while weaving in personal connections from her own family lineage.
Born and raised in Westchester County, New York, Carrington discovered her love for the arts early in life. She attended New Rochelle High School, where she actively participated in theater and dance, experiences that helped shape her creative expression and storytelling voice. Ms. Carrington now lives in Roswell, GA.
