Come and receive training on the Idea Studios Prusa 3-D Printers. This free training session includes 3D printer machine operation basics and an introduction to the Prusa slicing software for preparing 3-D models to be printed. Once you have gone through this training class, then you will be able to 3D print for free for up to six hours a week while the Idea Studio is open. This class is for patrons ages 13 and over. If anyone under 13 is interested in getting the 3D Printers, we suggest that a parent or guardian take this training class to get badged. Then the parents and kids will be able to come in together to 3D print, but a parent/ guardian must accompany anyone under 13 the entire time they are in the Idea Studio together. Adults should register for the class, but anyone under 13 should not register- but can sit in on the class. Registration and library card/account number are required. Space is strictly limited, so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other times available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org with your request.
