Celebrate World River’s Day on a three-day Explorer program that blends history, science, and outdoor adventure. Participants investigate the Blackstone River’s industrial past at the Museum of Work and Culture, study urban impacts and practice basic kayak skills in a classroom setting, then spend a final morning paddling and observing the river’s natural history. The experience is hands-on and interactive, featuring water testing, river bingo, and guided exploration designed to educate and inspire young nature enthusiasts.
