Unearth the Earth!

This interactive STEAM program will help kids visualize the planet’s internal structure through hands-on construction. We’ll start by building our very own Earth! Using different colors of playdough, kids will sculpt the Earth’s hidden layers—from the hot inner core to the rocky crust. Once the models are complete, we’ll perform a tectonic slice to reveal the colorful layers of the planet we call home. We’ll then learn about plate tectonics using graham crackers and frosting! Registration is required.
