Kids Read Tales to Tailwaggers

Join us for two exciting events designed for children at the Library!

First, the "Kids Read Tales to Tailwaggers" program allows children aged 4-12 to read their favorite stories to friendly KPET registered dogs and their handlers. Each child will have approximately 5 minutes of one-on-one time with a pup to read aloud, fostering a love for reading in a supportive environment. Accompanying adults are encouraged to join and engage with their children, as drop-offs will not be permitted. Please note that no-shows may result in restrictions on future registrations.

Next, "Trivia for Tweens" invites kids aged 10-12 to participate in a fun trivia challenge covering categories such as Minecraft, animals, and books. It’s a great way for tweens to test their knowledge and enjoy a lively competition. Arriving late may lead to forfeiting your spot, so be sure to arrive on time. As with the reading program, no-shows may impact future registration opportunities.
