Sunset Moth Frame Workshop

Step into the strange and beautiful at The Velvet Coffin Oddities for our Sunset Moth Frame Workshop.
In this hands-on class, you’ll create your own stunning framed Sunset Moth display using a vibrant Urania ripheus moth as the centerpiece. Participants will decorate and assemble a gothic-inspired shadowbox style frame with moss, crystals, mushrooms, florals, and other whimsical curiosities to create a one-of-a-kind piece of dark natural art.

We’ll also cover basic specimen handling, framing techniques, composition, and preservation tips so your finished piece is display-ready to take home that night.
