Lego SPIKE Robotics & Engineering for Grades 6+

Teens and tweens (Grades 6+) will use LEGO SPIKE PRIME kits + Prime app to engineer, code, and maneuver robots to accomplish an objective. Planned Cooperative Lessons: July 17: Super Cleanup Grabber July 24: Hopper Race [moving creature] July 31: This is Uphill [motorcycle] Aug 07: Aim for It [motorized vehicle] The Prime App has all lessons/plans built-in, if your child or pair doesn't want to do the weekly project, they are free to build/code something else, but help/instruction/time might not be available for them to complete their project if they stray from the lesson . Free. Registration required. You can register 1 month before classes start. 15 kits available: Working in pairs is permitted if registered person agrees/brings their own friend of age or picks someone from the waitlist. Please do not register if your child doesn’t meet the age requirement . There can be up to 30 participants, so please sign-up for the wait-list and show up if you are interested.
