Josh Rouse & his band will play the landmark 2003 album "1972" from front to back, as well as some of favorites from the rest of his career. 1972 was the breakthrough that broke Rouse out to a larger audience. Drawing from the sounds of the year of Rouse's birth-- it evokes Marvin Gaye, Carole King and many others-- The AV Club described it as follows: "Rouse shadows the sophistication and perfection of classic pop, trying to replicate its power to make listeners feel more at peace with their awkward relationships."
