Writing your life stories can be transformative, profound, and even fun! In this guided six-week series, you will learn how to capture the stories of your life through themes, questions, and exercises all designed to tap into memories and unearth the many stories of your life. No writing experience is required! After each class, you will write a two-page story that you will then share at the next session with fellow group members in an environment rooted in confidentiality, care, and curiosity. The series will be facilitated by Valerie Nicholas, a certified Birren Center GAB instructor, Life-Cycle Celebrant, and DPL Older Adult Services LPA. This program is a series. By registering for this program, you are committing to attend all 6 sessions (dates listed below) Each session will take place at the Central Branch Library from 2:00-3:30pm. Session dates: July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, and August 20.
