Seedlings: Fun in the Sun

Join us for an exciting day at the Botanic Gardens on July 14, from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., with "Seedlings: Fun in the Sun," designed for children aged 3-6 years. Participants will investigate the power of the sun while creating botanical artwork for seed packets, and exploring seed catalogs at the Helen Fowler Library. The event features an "Introduction to Color Theory" session to enhance artistic skills. Additionally, families can take part in a Guided Homeschool Exploration at the Plains Conservation Center, where they'll step back in time to learn about 1800s prairie homesteads, caring for friendly farm animals, and enjoy a Sunset Wagon Tour to observe local wildlife.
