Details:
Nerd Nite at Wilmington Brew Works is a monthly event that combines learning and socializing in a fun atmosphere. Held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Wilmington Brew Works (3129 Miller Rd, Wilmington, DE 19802), this event features a variety of engaging 20-minute presentations across different disciplines, allowing attendees to enjoy informative talks while sipping their favorite drinks. Participants must be 21 or older to attend.
In June, presentations will include topics such as Horseshoe Crabs with the Littoral Society, Surveillance Capitalism & Digital Secrets You Wish Your Family Didn’t Know About You with Luke Strathmann, and Mobile Suit Gundam: Peace was ALWAYS an Option with Malcolm Nolasco.
Tickets are priced at $8 for museum and Wilmington Brew Works members, and $12 for non-members, with all proceeds benefiting the museum's mission of fostering a passion for science learning. Advanced ticket sales end at 4 p.m. on the event day, but tickets can also be purchased at the door (card only, no cash). Free parking is available on-site, and the 025 bus stops directly in front of the venue.
