DEscousse Chase The Ace! Starts Thursday May 7th!

Tickets available at all Hall Events and from 6 PM to 7:15 PM every Thursday. Draw will take place at 7:30 PM Thursday at the DEscousse Hall.
House Rules for the DEscousse CTA lottery
1. Location, Day, Time of ticket sales and draw.
Draw will take place at the D’Escousse Civic Improvement Hall every Thursday starting May 7th 2026 at 7:25 pm. Tickets will be sold between 6:00pm and 7:15pm at the DEscousse Civic imp. Hall.
2. Ticket cost. Tickets will be 1 for $5.00 or 4 for $20 in a book. No deal for bulk buy.
3. Prize info.
Starting with a $500.00 prize
20% of the days ticket sales to the winning ticket holder
30% of the days ticket sales added to pot if ace is not picked.
50% to the DEscousse Hall account.
4. Process
When a winner comes forward with their winning ticket they receive 20% of that evening’s ticket sales. They then select one card from the deck. If they do not pick the ACE, then the card picked will be removed and destroyed as to not be played again. The remaining 30% of that evening’s sales / potential winnings will then be added to the jackpot for future draws. 50% of that evening’s ticket sales will go to the DEscousse Civic improvement acct.
However, if the ACE is picked, the winner will receive their 20% (of that evening’s sales) as well as whatever amount has accumulated in the rising jackpot and the game will be officially declared over and the Alcohol and Gaming Division notified immediately.
Before and after the draw, the deck of cards will be displayed in such a manner as to confirm that the ACE is in the deck. Cards will be spread out on the table and mixed. The winner will put 1 finger on the selected card without removing his/her finger off the card and the coordinator will remove all surrounding cards until only 1 card remains. The selected card will then be turned over by the coordinator. After each draw, the deck of cards will be secured in a sealed envelope and locked within the safe.
The person drawing the ticket or handling of the deck of cards must not hold a ticket for that draw; this includes the licensee.
