Join us for two exciting six-week art courses this summer!
**Painting: Exploring Watercolor** is perfect for both beginners and intermediate painters. Participants will learn fundamental techniques such as color washes, dry brush, masking, and layering, as well as have the opportunity to work on individual projects with guidance and feedback from the instructor and peers. Classes run from June 14 to July 26 (no class the week of July 4), and all materials are included. Tickets are priced at $219 ($182.50 for members and adults 25 and under), and signing up before June 1st grants you a $10 discount!
**Fiber Art: Quilting** invites you to explore the traditional craft of quilting in a beginner-friendly setting, inspired by the America 250: Common Threads exhibition. Students will learn essential techniques such as measuring, cutting, and piecing fabric squares using a sewing machine while creating a mini sampler quilt. This course emphasizes foundational skills and craftsmanship, catering to individuals aged 14 and up. Classes take place from June 14 to July 26, and like the painting course, all materials are included. Tickets cost $225 ($187.50 for members and adults 25 and under) with a $10 discount for early registration before June 1st.
