Family Program: Design Your Own “American Kids” Bus

Kenny Chesney’s #1 hit “American Kids” celebrates the individuality of creative young people. In the song’s music video and on Chesney’s The Big Revival album cover, a technicolor school bus—hand-painted by the Country Music Hall of Fame member and his friends—symbolizes the freedom to follow your own path, love your friends, and find joy in the moment. Design a paper version of the “American Kids” bus to show off your spirit of adventure. Presented in support of the exhibition Kenny Chesney: Living in Fast Forward. All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members. Local Kids Visit Free Tennessee children ages 18 and under from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties receive free Museum admission.
