Join us for a variety of sewing and crafting events designed for all skill levels!

**Beginning Sewing Classes with Nancy Wiswall:**
Kickstart your sewing journey on September 10, 17, 24, and October 1 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Under the guidance of experienced instructor Nancy Wiswall, you'll learn the essentials of sewing, including how to operate your sewing machine, choose and measure fabrics, and basic hand sewing techniques. Over this four-week course, participants (ages 12+) will complete several projects such as placemats, a pin cushion, and a reversible tote. Essential supplies include a working sewing machine, fabric, threads, and basic sewing tools.

**Featherweight Fellowship:**
On July 16 from 1 PM to 3 PM, connect with fellow owners of vintage Singer Featherweight 221 & 222 sewing machines. This gathering is a time to share tips, work on projects, and make new friends. Please bring your own working machine and register for this free event to receive monthly supply lists for planned activities. The Fellowship is not a clinic but provides support for minor issues with your Featherweight.

**Thursday Stitch and B!tch:**
Every Thursday from 5 PM to 8:30 PM, drop by the Maker's Space for a relaxed evening of stitching, chatting, and creativity. Bring any project you'd like to work on while enjoying snacks and the option to order dinner from nearby restaurants. This free event is an opportunity to unwind and connect with others in the community, whether you’re into quilting, knitting, or any other craft. Registration is encouraged to help us plan accordingly.
