Kyle Stevens is Associate Professor of Film Studies at Appalachian State University. He is the author of a book on Mike Nichols, editor of The Oxford Handbook of Film Theory, and published widely on topics related to queer cinema, performance, humor, social media, and more in venues such as Critical Inquiry, Journal of Cinema and Media Studies, and L.A. Review of Books.
