Splat Jr. Obstacle Course Mud Run

The 13th annual Splat Jr. Obstacle Course Mud Run brings muddy fun to the Gans Creek Recreation Area on Saturday, July 11, 2026!
Splat has walls, pipes, tires, climbing, crawling, cheering, encouragement, and of course, SO MUCH MUD! Depending on age, youth participants will complete a 1K (4 to 5 year-olds), 2K (6 to 8 year-olds), or 3K (8 to 15 year-olds) course. The Splat course and obstacles are designed to be age-appropriate in terms of difficulty and distance. This event has 10 waves (start times), each with a 125-participant cap. Waves 6-10 (8* to 15 year-olds) are great for siblings and groups with kids in more than one age group who want to participate together (birthday party, youth group, sports team, etc.) . Each wave has a 125-participant cap. Register early!
PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE FRIDAY, JUNE 05, 2026, TO GUARANTEE YOUR PREFERRED SHIRT SIZE.
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY, JULY 09, 2026, AT NOON. THERE WILL BE NO EVENT DAY REGISTRATION.

• 8:30 a.m. WAVE 1 for 4-5 year-olds ~ 1 Kilometer
• 8:45 a.m. WAVE 2 for 4-5 year-olds ~ 1 Kilometer
• 9:15 a.m. WAVE 3 for 6-8 year-olds ~ 2 Kilometers
• 9:30 a.m. WAVE 4 for 6-8 year-olds ~ 2 Kilometers
• 9:45 a.m. WAVE 5 for 6-8 year-olds ~ 2 Kilometers
• 10:15 a.m. *WAVE 6 for 8-15 year-olds ~ 3 Kilometers
• 10:30 a.m. *WAVE 7 for 8-15 year-olds ~ 3 Kilometers
• 10:45 a.m. *WAVE 8 for 8-15 year-olds ~ 3 Kilometers
• 11:00 a.m. *WAVE 9 for 8-15 year-olds ~ 3 Kilometers

• 12:15 p.m. Obstacle course closes
* Please note that this is a longer/more challenging course for 8 year-olds than WAVES 3-5.

Splat is $32 per child. Registration includes the obstacle course experience, a Splat t-shirt, a Splat drawstring backpack, and a Splat finisher medal (plus a bunch of complimentary MUD!).
