Details:
The 610 Arts Collective is pleased to present Southwestern Impressionism, a vibrant June exhibition featuring the work of Ouray artist Todd Mayfield. The exhibit will be on view June 2–26, 2026, at the 610 Arts Collective in Ridgway, Colorado.
Drawing inspiration from the color, energy, and spirit of the American Southwest, Mayfield’s paintings are bold, expressive, and deeply rooted in a sense of place. Working primarily in acrylics, his pieces blend vivid palettes, movement, texture, and striking composition to create works that feel both contemporary and timeless. From powerful portraiture to richly layered abstract and figurative forms, Southwestern Impressionism celebrates the beauty, culture, and emotional landscape of the West.
Todd Mayfield has built a long and versatile career in the visual arts, balancing decades of professional design leadership with a lifelong passion for fine art. For more than 35 years, his work in commercial communications, branding, and visual storytelling has influenced projects throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. In 2024, he launched Ouray Studio, a Colorado-based creative boutique that marks a renewed focus on painting, writing, and personal artistic exploration.
Mayfield’s artwork has been exhibited in galleries throughout Colorado, Florida, Arizona, Hawaii, Chicago, and New York. His work continues to evolve through a fearless use of color, expressive brushwork, and a strong connection to the landscapes and cultures of the Southwest.
