Independence Day Celebration

Join us for the Loveland Independence Day & Sesquicentennial Celebration on July 4th in Historic Downtown Loveland, commemorating both America's independence and the city's 150th anniversary. The day will be filled with family-friendly activities, entertainment, delicious food from local vendors, contests, live music, and a spectacular fireworks show.

The event kicks off at 1:00 p.m. with Eric Blume's Student Drum Recital on the Community Stage, followed by the Food Court opening at 2:00 p.m., featuring a variety of culinary delights. At 4:00 p.m., the Independence Day Parade begins at Loveland Elementary School, showcasing community floats, a color guard, and special guests including Shriners and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Enjoy music from DJ Diamond, interactive family activities, and numerous attractions throughout the day, including live wood-carving demonstrations, face painting, and games. Participate in contests like the Adult Spelling Bee, Lip Sync Battle, and the classic Pie Eating Contest.

As the evening progresses, experience live music by the Michelle Robinson Band and get ready for the final drawing of the commemorative bourbon bottle raffle. The festivities culminate with the fireworks spectacular at 10:00 p.m., illuminating the night sky. Free shuttle service will be available, and various downtown businesses will have special events to enhance your celebration.
