TEMPOart Artists at Play featuring Aquarius Funkk: The Rainbow Ball, an Interactive Event for Self-Expression

This summer, CMTM is proud to present the Artist at Play series hosted by TEMPOart Aquarius Funkk is a queer Afrofuturist performance artist who bends the realities of spacetime, reaching into the past to tell stories that are needed in the present. Aquarius will host an interactive Mini-Ball event in Maddy's Theatre, full of joy and self-expression. Participants are encouraged to ing their favorite looks from home and accessorize with materials provided by the Museum. The first half of the session will be a workshop for participants to create their looks and practice their walks, and the second half will feature a runway to showcase their style & creativity with panelists and prizes for all. This is your chance to wear your favorite outfit or to create a new look of your own in a fun community space. TEMPOart commissions temporary public artwork that sparks dialogue, builds community, and inspires our collective imagination.
