AI for Curious People offers a clear and practical introduction to artificial intelligence for general audiences. Designed for adults who want a better understanding of this rapidly changing technology, the program explores how AI works and where people encounter it in everyday life. Participants will be asked to consider the opportunities AI presents along with the ethical questions it raises around bias, transparency, and human judgment. The goal is to help participants feel more informed, more confident, and better equipped to engage with AI thoughtfully.
The session is led by Jon Braun, an experienced professional in online learning and digital content development. Jon has spent several years researching and leading programs focused on artificial intelligence. With over 16 years of experience in public libraries Jon has directed projects that combine user-focused design technology innovation and community engagement.
