Details:
Join us on Wednesday, June 10, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Medford Public Library in Bonsignore Hall for an engaging evening focused on artificial intelligence. Families with K-8 students are invited to explore how AI influences learning, play, and communication both at school and home. Dr. Daniella DiPaola, PhD from MIT Media Lab, will lead a discussion on AI's impact on our values and effective family dialogues. Participants can enjoy hands-on activities, including training AI models with LEGO Education kits, experimenting with computer vision, and engaging in various unplugged exercises. We recommend bringing a tablet or laptop for the activities, though extras will be provided.
Simultaneously, in the Teen Section of the library, teens can take a break and enjoy playing popular Jackbox games such as Quiplash, Drawful, and Talking Points. Come for an evening of learning and fun!
