Details:
The HeART Strings Program for the Cognitively Impaired is a therapeutic initiative aimed at providing individuals with dementia meaningful social engagement and sensory stimulation through live music and hands-on art experiences. This multisensory program promotes memory, creativity, and emotional well-being while fostering joyful connections. Additionally, caregivers are invited to participate in the “A Day in the Life” Hands-on Simulation, an educational event that sheds light on the health challenges faced by older adults, such as neuropathy, hearing loss, vision changes, cognitive shifts, and mobility issues. To register for either program, please visit www.alohatoaging.org/upcomingprograms or email info@alohatoaging.org for more information.
