Details:
Best known for his Grammy-nominated No. 1 hit “Lullaby,” Shawn Mullins broke through in the late ’90s with Soul’s Core, a record that helped define the era’s acoustic-driven Americana sound. He followed with standout tracks like “Beautiful Wreck,” while songs like “Shimmer” and “All in My Head” found new life on major TV soundtracks including Dawson’s Creek and Scrubs.
His breezy songwriting style can be heard on the Zac Brown Band’s No. 1 hit “Toes” which he co-wrote, and in collaboration with artists like Matthew Sweet and Pete Droge in the supergroup The Thorns. Now, Shawn revisits his landmark debut with Soul’s Core Revival, reimagining the album with retooled songs in both intimate acoustic settings and full-band arrangements.
Joining him onstage is singer-songwriter and returning Judson’s Live artist Cat Ridgeway, whose soulful voice scored her the title of Orlando’s Best Rock Act and Best Singer/Songwriter for three years in a row.
