Imperfectly Perfect: An Art Giveaway Table (call for donations)

Do you have artwork hiding in your studio that you would never hang in a gallery? Not good enough to sell? Maybe an uneven mug or a painting that didn’t work?
We want it!
We are hosting a perfectly imperfect giveaway table- a community event where artists donate “not for sale works” and people are invited to take them.
This is about: reducing waste, celebrating process over perfection, making art accessible to everyone, letting go of creative guilt, and sparking joy in unexpected ways.
What we are looking for:
-Knit, hooked, woven and sewn textiles.
-Paintings, drawings, prints and mixed media.
-Small sculptures
 
Drop off details: Drop off anytime June 2nd to June 6th to Baddeck Public library (520 Chebucto St, Baddeck) Feel free to include your name, title, and medium in a short note.
