Campbell County Public Library welcomes teens in grades 7-12 to learn all about camping! 🏕 Join us Thursday, July 23, 2-4pm and be ready to level up your outdoor skills with hands-on camping basics at three interactive stations: 🔥 Campfire Setup 101 Learn how to properly build and structure a campfire (weather/fire restrictions permitting—demo only if needed) . 🎒 Backpacking Basics What should you pack for an overnight hike? Get the essentials checklist and tips from experienced campers. ⛺ Tent & Hammock Setup Practice pitching a basic tent and see how to set up a hammock the right way. Perfect for teens who love the outdoors—or want to start exploring! No experience needed. Just show up ready to learn.
