In celebration of our Summer Discovery Program theme: UNEARTH A STORY... Join us at the Cambridge Library as the Isanti Soil and Water Conservation District presents... Soil Characterization!
Learn about physical properties of soil (texture, color, structure, consistence, infiltration) and the different ways in which humans depend on and use soil. You will collect a small sample of soil and complete several tests to identify and describe the physical properties found in the sample.
For grades 3-8.
Registration preferred, but not required.
Program will be outdoors. In case of bad weather, we will move to the Great Northern Room.
