POT 10 - Beginning Wheel (Berman)

Join our introductory pottery classes, including "POT 10 - Beginning Wheel" and "POT 01 - Beginning Handbuilding." In the Beginning Wheel class, designed for novice wheel students, participants will learn fundamental techniques for throwing, glazing, and firing, with a focus on crafting small forms like cups, bowls, and saucers. This class emphasizes safety guidelines and includes a supply fee of $98, covering one bag of clay, glazes, and firing space (additional costs apply for porcelain). Students are required to provide their own tools, and all work must be created within the studio. Meanwhile, the Beginning Handbuilding class teaches essential skills for creating ceramic forms using pinch, coil, and slab techniques without a potter’s wheel, while also covering studio safety guidelines. Both classes provide a comprehensive foundation in ceramics for aspiring artists.
