Details:
Join us for an exciting day of hands-on exploration and creativity at the Phoenix Public Library, now located on the 4th floor next to MACH! First, engage your early math skills with “Measure Like a Paleontologist,” where children and families will measure dinosaur bones using fun tools like cubes or links, predicting and comparing lengths while enhancing problem-solving skills and confidence. Then, unleash your artistic side in the “Altered Art” program at the MACH1 Makerspace, where participants of all ages can transform vinyl albums and books into unique creations using paints and markers. Space is limited for both activities, so arrive early. For those requiring accommodations, please contact us at least 14 business days prior to the event. Support for these programs is provided by a grant from First Things First.
