Join us for an enriching experience at the **Garden Explorers Summer Camp: Bees, Bats, and Butterflies** at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. This half-day program, running from July 13-17, 2026, from 9am to 12pm, invites children ages 10-14 to explore the wonders of nature, including art, science, botanical studies, and gardening, with a special focus on pollinators. Participants will engage in hands-on learning, including live presentations about bees and butterflies, birdwatching, and crafting botanically relevant projects to take home.
Additionally, don't miss our **Butterfly Release** event held on select Saturday mornings during our Butterfly Experience. Attendees will gain exclusive early access to the gardens, learning about the life cycle and ecology of butterflies before participating in a live butterfly release. With limited spots available, this intimate encounter allows for a memorable connection with nature. Admission for both events includes access to explore the beautiful conservatory afterward. For more information and to secure your spot, please contact education@buffalogardens.com.
