Guidelines on Program Attendance We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise that may prevent you from attending a program you registered for. If you are unable to attend an event, please call or email us, or cancel your registration online at least 24 hours in advance. This will afford others who would like to attend the opportunity to participate. Unfortunately, absences without prior notification and extreme tardiness have been hindering library staff from carrying out programs to the best of our abilities. Even more importantly, these disruptive behaviors are undermining the positive experiences of other participants. The Library's Patron Behavior Policy explicitly states that behavior that “interferes with the enjoyment of the library by other individuals” can result in adverse consequences. Therefore, we feel it’s important to announce our guidelines for program attendance. Any registrant for an adult program who is a “no-show” and/or is more than 15 minutes late for two events will subsequently be moved to the waitlist for the next program they register for. Our programs begin on time; please plan accordingly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping make our library programs pleasurable and meaningful for all. Accommodations The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any accessibility concerns or need to request specific accommodations, please contact the library at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
