Additional Details:
Dogs: We have an indoor portion of the event in the chalet and dogs should be kept outside, however well-behaved, leashed dogs and service animals are welcome to walk the trails! Please keep in mind that it can get quite busy, and we kindly ask that you clean up after your dog to help keep the event enjoyable for everyone.
Parking: Car park on Bennetts Road.
Route: Please note that this is a well-maintained trail, so the surface may be uneven. Plan ahead with proper footwear and gear! As the path is on a trail, we recommend those that are looking at bringing strollers ensure they are all terrain models designed for outdoor use.
What’s happening at this year’s St. John's Walk?
Family Fun Zone: Packed with activities everyone will love, facepainting, games, arts and crafts and much more!
Lunch: Pizza has been generously sponsored by Domino’s Pizza and pre-packaged snacks and beverages will be available at the event for you to enjoy. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle to stay hydrated on the route!

The Walk is more than just an event – it's a celebration of the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community, where families, volunteers, and supporters come together to help make every day better for those living with type 1 diabetes.
Together we Walk to accelerate T1D breakthroughs.
