Dogs: We love our furry friends, but for the comfort and safety of all guests, pets are not permitted at the event. Service animals are always welcome.
Parking: there is ample free parking on site.
Route: Please note that this route uses sidewalks and is fully paved, making it suitable for strollers, wheelchairs, and other accessibility aids. There is an indoor walking option on a track for those who prefer.
What’s happening at this year’s Melville/Yorkton District Walk?
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious hotdog lunch, fresh watermelon, and beverages for lunch. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle to stay hydrated on the route!

T1D Adult Coffee Corner: A welcoming area for T1D adults to form new connections and engage in conversations.
Breakthrough T1D Walk is a high-energy, family-friendly event where you’ll meet others who "just get it.” Expect smiles, team spirit, and a whole lot of heart. The Walk is more than just an event – it's a celebration of the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community, where families, volunteers, and supporters come together to help make every day better for those living with type 1 diabetes.
