**Breakthrough T1D Walk Events Summary**

Join us for two exciting Breakthrough T1D Walk events, taking place in Chatham and Saskatoon, where families, volunteers, and supporters come together to celebrate and support the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community.

**Chatham Event Details:**
- **Registration Opens:** 11:00 AM EDT
- **Opening Ceremony:** 11:45 AM EDT
- **Walk Starts:** 12:00 PM EDT
- **Lunch:** 12:30 PM EDT (BBQ lunch provided by the Optimist Club of Chatham)
- **Closing Ceremony:** 1:30 PM EDT
- **Walk Length:** 2 km (1 km loop)
- **Family Fun Zone:** Activities for all ages!

**Saskatoon Event Details:**
- **Registration Opens:** 9:30 AM CST
- **Kids' Activities:** 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM CST
- **Opening Ceremony:** 10:45 AM CST
- **Walk Starts:** 11:00 AM CST
- **Event Ends:** 1:00 PM CST
- **Walk Length:** 5 km
- **Family Fun Zone:** Includes crafts and lawn games!

**Additional Information for Both Events:**
- **Dogs:** Well-behaved, leashed dogs and service animals are welcome. Please clean up after your pet.
- **Parking:** Available onsite, with overflow options in the surrounding community.
- **Route:** Trails are well-maintained and fully paved, accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
- **Snacks and Hydration:** Bring your water bottle. Chatham will offer a BBQ lunch, while Saskatoon will provide pre-packaged snacks and beverages.
