Art Build

Join us for Art Build at Book and Puppet, a creative space calling all artists and activists to get involved in impactful art-making! Help create signs, performance masks, costumes, and giant parade puppets for upcoming festivals and rallies, including a collaborative puppet of Mother Earth and her children. Materials will be provided, and we welcome donations of fabric, cardboard, and other crafting items. Sessions take place every Friday and Sunday until August 30th, from 4:30-7:30 PM, excluding August 7 and 9. This initiative, led by puppet maker Gaia Abraxas of Yippee Skippy Puppet Theater, aims to inspire crowds and attract media attention through creative activism.
