Details:
What does it mean to collect an artist whose work is an act of preserving knowledge itself?
Join Miami-based collectors Javier Martin and Austria Ulloa, founders of the 404 Art Collection, for an intimate conversation exploring the life, work, and enduring significance of Frédéric Bruly Bouabré — one of Africa's most revered contemporary artists and a remarkable visual storyteller and interpreter of knowledge.
Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Frédéric Bruly Bouabré: Selections from the 404 Art Collection, the conversation will be moderated by exhibition curator Dr. Ross Karlan, Curator-at-Large at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. Together, they'll offer insight into Bouabré's extraordinary practice, and into the 404 Art Collection's commitment to preserving and sharing works that expand cultural memory and contemporary discourse.
