Details:
Plant a Seed, Read! On Monday, June 22, the Blue Hill Library will kick off Summer Reading! This summer, kids of all ages and adults can pick up a special reading log bookmark with flowers and plants to color as books are read. After reading five books and completing one bookmark, participants can scratch the scratch off sticker at the end of the bookmark to reveal their prize. Come back to the library with your completed bookmark to claim the prize and pick up a new bookmark! Kids and teens who complete five bookmarks will earn a gardening or crochet kit, while adults will be entered into a drawing for a gift card to Blue Hill Books. Summer reading will end Labor Day weekend so be sure to bring in your completed bookmarks by Saturday, September 5.
The program is free of charge thanks to the Friends of the Library. For more information, call the library at 374-5515 or email Claire at claire.malina@bhpl.net, Kendall at kendall.chapman@bhpl.net, or Kayleigh at kayleigh.thomas@bhpl.net.
