Details:
Join us for a unique combination of wellness and support activities featuring Tai Chi and the Memory Connections Support Group. Tai Chi, known as “meditation in motion,” involves slow, manageable movements suitable for all ages, promoting both physical wellness and relaxation. Participants will engage in warm-ups and learn the Yang Short Form through repetition, focusing on three basic postures and five principles in a supportive community environment. The Tai Chi sessions last for one hour and fifteen minutes, with flexibility for early departures if needed.
In addition to Tai Chi, the Memory Connections Support Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Shiloh Bible Church's Youth Activity Center in Bloomsburg, PA. This group provides a welcoming space for individuals with memory loss and their care partners, featuring engaging activities and valuable support. Registration is required for participants bringing someone with dementia, ensuring a meaningful experience for all. For more information or to register, please call or text Brighter Pathways at 570-979-1199 or email info@brighterpathwaysspeech.com. Experience the enriching benefits of both activities in a safe and supportive environment.
