Kites & Bites Festival

Kites and Bites 2026 will feature food trucks, music and of course, kites! It all takes place at Valley View Playfields, 90th Street and Portland Avenue South. KITESFREE kites will be available for youth age 18 and younger while supplies last. This year we're giving away even bigger kites for more exciting flights! Of course you can always bring your own kites to fly as well! Don't miss the exciting kite flying demonstrations by members of the American Kitefliers Association! There is also plenty of on-street parking in the neighborhoods to the north.
