Join us for two engaging summer events at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library!
First, participate in the "Summer Walk & Talk" where library staff and Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health will guide a leisurely 20-minute walk around the library while discussing books, shows, and podcasts. This event occurs on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from May to August at 10:00 am, concluding with refreshments at the Library Labyrinth. All ages are welcome, and participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear.
Additionally, attend the "Music and Movement" session led by Boram Chern from Matilda Studio, featuring gentle stretching, singing, and rhythm activities designed to enhance cognitive, motor, and respiratory health. This 30-minute class is scheduled for Tuesdays, June 23 and 30, and July 21 and 28, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am in Meeting Room C, and is free for all adults, regardless of musical background.
For more information about these events, contact Katie Dinneen-Wirtz for the walk or Mac Kemmer for the music session, both at the library located at 515 North Fifth Street, Bismarck, ND 58501, USA. Media is welcome to attend!
