Details:
Outdoor Range - There will be Tuesday evening High Power practice sessions (from the under the main canopy) from 5pm till about 9pm. We shoot the High Power Bullseye targets at 200, 300 and occasionally at 600 yards. Depending on attendance, we may close down the session earlier in the evening. If winds are above 20mph, or if there is rain, we probably won’t shoot.
Electronic targets are used for shot placement and scoring. If you are planning to attend, make sure you have a good zero on your rifle (100 yard zero is fine). In order for e-Targets to work properly, bullet velocity must be approximately 1300 fps at the target. Also bring a smart phone or I-pad to observe your shots on target.
Participants are asked to provide a free will donation to help pay for e-Target maintenance and target costs.
If you would like to try out this shooting discipline, please give us a call.
NOTE TO MEMBERS: Since firing is done from under the main firing line canopy – the main firing line canopy area and the Action Shooting area is OPEN for other club member use during these Tuesday sessions. Firing lines are closed for approximately 15-20 minutes for e-Target setup and take down.
