Details:
Outdoor Range - There will be Long Range practice sessions from the 1000-yard firing line on Monday evenings from 12 Noon till dusk. Depending on attendance, we may close down the session earlier in the evening. If winds are above 20 mph, or if there is rain, we probably won’t shoot.
Electronic targets are used for shot placement and scoring. If you are planning to attend, make sure you have a good zero on your rifle (100 yard zero is fine). In order for e-Targets to work properly, bullet velocity must be approximately 1300 fps at 1000 yards (at target). Shots can be observed on a smart phone or iPad.
Participants are asked to provide a free will donation to help pay for e-Target maintenance and target costs.
NOTE TO CLUB MEMBERS: Since firing takes place behind the main firing line canopy (West of the canopy), the main firing line canopy is CLOSED during these Monday practice sessions. The Action Shooting Area (South of the main firing line canopy) is also CLOSED.
If you would like to try out this shooting discipline, please give us a call.
