2026 Explore the Shore 5k/10k

**Event Description: 2026 Explore the Shore 5k/10k & 2026 Dash 4 Dignity 5k**

Join us for two impactful races in 2026, combining fitness with charitable missions. The **Explore the Shore** offers both 5k and 10k distances along a scenic loop route in Colonial Beach, VA, providing stunning views of Monroe Bay and the Potomac River. Participants can register for both in-person and virtual options, earning points towards various series, including the 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series. Runners will receive a finisher's medal, a technical event shirt, and a complimentary beer from Colonial Beach Brewing.

Simultaneously, the **Dash 4 Dignity 5k** supports City of Refuge Baltimore's Anti-Human Trafficking initiative, aiming to restore dignity and provide resources for survivors of modern-day slavery. This 5k will also feature a virtual run option, and all participants receive an event shirt.

**Registration Fees:**
- Explore the Shore: 5k at $35 (pre-June 30), 10k at $50 (pre-June 30), with prices increasing on race day.
- Dash 4 Dignity: 5k at $35 (until March 31) with similar price increases applying.

Participants are encouraged to register early for guaranteed t-shirt sizes and are reminded of the importance of arriving one hour before race times for check-in and packet pickup.
